Steam Sterilizer Cum Bung Processor
The Steam Sterilizer Cum Bung Processor is a double door pass through sterilisation instrument that can be mounted within a cabinet enclosure, applicable for both vertical sliding and horizontal sliding configurations. Designed primarily for sterilising rubber bungs used in stoppering vials, it handles capacities of up to 1,00,000 bungs per cycle and above for different plug diameters. Built with stainless steel 304/316L construction, it meets cGMP standards with all contact parts in SS316 and non-contact parts in SS304 including the basic frame.

The Steam Sterilizer Cum Bung Processor processes bungs through a complete cycle of loading, washing, rinsing, siliconization, sterilisation, and drying. A silicone emulsion or oil is used to siliconize the rubber bungs. Multiple process programs are available including Bung Processing cycle, Standard cycle, H.P.H.V. cycle, and Bowie-Dick cycle and Vacuum Leak Test cycle. The automatic process control unit is based on advanced PLC with or without SCADA and 21 CFR part 11 compliance, with manual operation backup.
The Steam Sterilizer Cum Bung Processor features a compact modular design requiring no manual operation, with a temperature resistant food grade silicone gasket with sliding doors. An easy to handle moving trolley supports loading and unloading, while steam traps ensure effective condensate removal. The two horizontally sliding doors with silicon PTFE gasket and floor mounting with all side panelling complete the design for safe and efficient operation.
