Laboratory Rotary Evaporator is an ergonomically designed instrument delivering high-performance separation, concentration, and purification of liquid samples. Built for research and analytical laboratory environments, it combines a touchscreen interface with programmable automation features to streamline distillation workflows. A unique sealing system, flask ejector design, and chemically resistant components ensure reliable, safe operation across a wide range of solvent and sample types.
The evaporation flask rotates continuously at speeds up to 280 rpm via a powerful rotation motor, increasing the sample surface area to accelerate evaporation under controlled vacuum conditions. The flask connects to the vapour tube via a coupling ring with a standard NS 29/32 joint, while PTFE sleeves maintain a tight seal preventing glass-to-glass sticking. The heating bath accommodates both water and oil as bath fluids, reaching up to 85°C with water and 185°C with oil. Vapour generated passes through one of four available condenser types for collection in the receiving flask. Up to nine programmable distillation steps can be configured, with automatic programme termination upon reaching the set time.
An electric lifting device with adjustable stroke enables precise flask positioning and automatically removes the flask from the heating bath during power outages, protecting samples from thermal damage. Overheating and dry-running protection are standard safety features. The anti-corrosion PTFE-coated inner bath and high-quality protective shell prevent scalding and chemical degradation during routine use.
