Built entirely from stainless steel and designed for bench-top or floor-standing installation, it handles a broad range of sample types, from aqueous solutions to solvent-containing and low-freezing-point products, with consistent reliability across every cycle.
The system is governed by a microprocessor controller with a touch panel interface, giving operators direct, intuitive management of all process parameters. The ice condenser is selectable between −50°C for standard aqueous applications and −80°C for solvent-containing or low-freezing-point materials. A magnetic valve between the vacuum pump and condenser maintains precise vacuum control throughout the drying cycle. Process data is automatically captured and converted into graphic and numeric PDF logs via DRYLOG batch documentation software.
The modular design accommodates a variety of drying chamber configurations, acrylic or stainless steel, with the option of vacuum ports for connecting additional flasks. An aluminium rack insert with variable shelf spacing adapts to different product container sizes, with an optional heating feature available to accelerate drying. An oil-sealed rotary vane pump with exhaust oil mist filter delivers an ultimate vacuum of 3 × 10⁻⊃3; mbar for demanding applications. For chemical and solvent-heavy processes, a chemistry hybrid vacuum pump achieving 2 × 10⁻⊃3; mbar is available as an alternative.
