Operational Design
The FDS Model achieves rapid refrigeration down to −40°C through a high-capacity cooling system. A specially designed rotary mechanism distributes the sample evenly across the interior vessel wall, ensuring uniform freeze quality throughout and reducing overall process lead time.
Key Features
Three chamber capacities - 8, 12, and 18 litres- make the FDS adaptable to varying throughput demands. The system supports flask and rack vessels ranging from 40ml to 900ml. In an empty state, the unit reaches below −40°C in under one hour. Bath dimensions are 150(W) × 300(D) × 145(H) mm.
