Systec Media Fill
The Systec Mediafill is a fully automatic, safe, and efficient media dispensing system designed for sterile filling of Petri dishes with diameters of 35, 60, 70, and 90 mm, including standard and up to 26 mm deep dishes. Available in three carousel configurations accommodating 220, 440, and 660 Petri dishes, it can also be converted into a tube filler using the same vessel, processing test tubes with diameters of 13, 16, 20, 25, and 30 mm across up to 4 racks in a single work sequence.

The Systec Mediafill operates via a 5.7 inch touch display with one-touch Petri dish selection from an integrated database of pre-programmed dish dimensions. Sterile dispensing is performed precisely through an integrated peristaltic main pump with a filling volume of 1 to 999.95 ml and filling accuracy of 1% at 15 ml. An optional integrated additives pump allows simultaneous addition of additives synchronised with the main pump at optimum mixing ratio. The DropStop function prevents uncontrolled bleeding at the filling port, while the shaker function ensures optimum media distribution in each dish. A UV lamp with 2.3 W UVC light emission reduces contamination risk throughout the filling process.
The Systec Mediafill is engineered for unsupervised, fully automatic filling and stacking without user intervention, with smooth aluminium surfaces that are easy to clean with no joints where medium deposits can remain. The EasyStack carousel can be fully removed from the unit for convenient handling. In the event of malfunction, the pump back function returns the medium to prevent gelling in the tube. The system complies with ISO 9001 quality assurance standards and is CE marked, with qualification and validation support including DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ available with GMP compliant documentation.
