Horizontal Autoclaves
The Horizontal Autoclave (Rectangular) is a robust and efficient sterilisation instrument designed for maximum thermodynamic efficiency. Built with a stainless steel 304/316 grade inner chamber, SS304 grade jacket and door, and strong argon welded joints mounted on a corrosion resistant stand, it is engineered for long-lasting performance in demanding laboratory and industrial environments. Available in capacities ranging from 182 to 3456 litres, with customised sizes also available on request.

The Horizontal Autoclave (Rectangular) operates on a downward displacement principle, ensuring minimal quantities of water and steam are required for optimum sterilisation. A steam trap provides effective and economical removal of air and condensate from the chamber, helping achieve sterilisation temperature faster. Standard working pressure is 1.2 kg/cm⊃2; at 121 °C, with an optional working pressure of 2.1 kg/cm⊃2; at 134 °C.
The centralised control point of the Horizontal Autoclave (Rectangular) features a multi-port operating valve and solenoid valve for complete cycle control, fast and slow exhaust speed options, a compound gauge for pressure reading, and a pressure gauge to read jacket pressure. A power ejector fitted in the multi-port operating valve circulates air in the chamber for vacuum drying with minimum heat loss.
